Update 2017. While we hoped we could revive this project it has not happened. If anyone is interested in taking over, please leave a comment.


Knit lots of hats and scarves for patients and survivors or breast and ovarian cancers to be donated to the Komen Foundation for the Cure, Philadelphia Affiliate. We fully support monetary fund raising efforts for the cure. But we also want to do something which will go directly to those who need to know there are people rooting for their health and survival. All skill levels are welcome!

Please join us! The 2011 project ends Sept. 15th.

Reminder... Yarn Exchange scarf

Hello All -
Hope you've started Michael's beautiful Warrior Hat! I'm in Western Massachusetts and am going to Webb's today to pick out yarn. Very excited about that.

We still need a few more participants in the yarn exchange scarf... so we've decided to extend the deadline. If you can pick up yarn this weekend, and mail the yarn in on Monday, July 18th, (or get it to me sometime next week - if you know where to find me) that would be fabulous. Please drop us a line to be expecting it. There will soon be a crochet pattern for the scarf as well.
